Lavanya started her passion towards dance right from the age of 5 and completed her training in Bharatanatyam from Sri Thyagaraja government college of music & dance (Hyderabad, Telangana) Sri Thyagaraja Government College of Music & Dance – Hyderabad – India (stgcmd.com)  and gained excellence in Classical Dance of Bharatanatyam over period of time while pursuing her bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. Lavanya artistic passion turned her into well rounded excellence in this field. She has more than 14 years of expertise in the field as a popular & versatile performer, creative choreographer, and a teacher.
In addition, she has performed at prestigious events like Afro Asia Games, Youth Festivals and on popular stages like Ravindra Bharathi, Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha –Hyderabad and more.

After relocating to California in 2008, she has been leading dance lessons for adults & children and choreographed for events like Republic Day; Janmashtami; Deepavali programs organized by Indian Association and trained USA youth beauty pageant contestant. She got offer to perform during cultural day event at Chevron corporation & Shell Oil (my workplace)

Lavanya is a classicist at heart and always tries to bring innovative choreography to make performers comfortable to learn.
